Does this sound familiar?

Trying to conceive can feel like a second job.

You've been trying for months, and every period feels like a small heartbreak.

You spend the two-week wait googling every twinge and cramp.

The advice online is loud, contradictory, or written for someone else's kitchen.

You're not sure when "keep trying" becomes "it's time to see a doctor".

You feel like you're carrying all of it alone.

You're doing everything you can and still don't know what's working.

Your body is not failing you. You simply haven't been given the right map yet.

Is it right for you?

Who this guide is for

It's for you if…

  • You're trying to conceive, or planning to start soon
  • You want to understand your cycle instead of guessing
  • You want food guidance that fits an African kitchen
  • You're coming off birth control, or have PCOS or irregular cycles and want a place to start

It's not…

  • A replacement for a doctor. It tells you clearly when to see one
  • A promise of pregnancy. No honest guide can make that promise
  • A supplement plan or a restrictive diet

Behind the guide

Why this guide exists

I created Fertile Ground because I have seen how unfairly women can be blamed when they struggle to conceive. That blame is painful, and it is not deserved. Fertility challenges are not a woman’s fault, and no one should have to face them feeling ashamed or alone.

I have watched people close to me navigate the uncertainty and emotional weight of trying to conceive. Their experiences stayed with me and motivated me to research this subject carefully, learn from what has helped others, and bring together practical guidance that women and their partners can use.

This guide is for every woman who has wondered whether she is somehow to blame. You are not alone, and your worth has never depended on the outcome of a pregnancy test.

I also created space for partners because conception is a shared journey. With understanding, communication, and mutual support, couples can face this season together rather than placing the burden on one person.

I hope Fertile Ground leaves you feeling informed, supported, and encouraged.

With care,
Fertile Ground

Questions

Before you buy

What exactly do I get?

Two PDFs: the 23-page Fertile Ground guide and a 7-page Printable Toolkit with the cycle tracker, grocery list, doctor prep sheet and 30-day reset grid.

How do I receive it?

Straight after payment, Selar gives you a download link and also sends it to your email. There's nothing to wait for and nothing is shipped.

Can I read it on my phone?

Yes. It opens in any PDF reader on your phone, tablet or laptop. The toolkit pages are made to print, but you can also fill them in digitally.

Will this guarantee I get pregnant?

No, and you should be careful of anything that promises it. Fertile Ground helps you understand your cycle, time things better, support your body with food and habits, and know when to get medical help.

Is this medical advice?

No. It's educational, and it's clear about when you need a doctor. If you have irregular cycles, a known condition, or you're over 35, speak with a healthcare professional as well.

I have PCOS or irregular cycles. Will it help?

Yes, as a starting point. There's a section on eating for PCOS and a page for women with irregular cycles, alongside guidance on when to see a doctor.

Is there something for my partner?

Yes. Module 6 covers his habits and his role, and there's a partner check-in page to help you talk about it together.
